Overview
EightPM is looking to collaborate with an experienced production professional who’s already deeply connected in the film and TV industry across APAC.
If you’re a prop master, set decorator, production designer, or art department pro with a strong network, and you’d like to earn extra cash by making valuable introductions, you’re exactly who we want to talk to.
This is a results driven, contract role that’s ideal for someone who’s actively working in production and wants to collaborate with EightPM while staying close to the action.
What You’ll Do
- Leverage your existing production network to identify and connect EightPM with key contacts across the film, TV, and production ecosystem, including prop masters, set decorators, clearance coordinators, costume designers, producers, production designers, and more.
- Share insights from the local production landscape: what’s in motion, who’s crewing up, and where potential opportunities might exist.
- Deliver a steady pipeline of new introductions and potential partnership opportunities across APAC.
- Represent EightPM professionally in all interactions, communicating our value and capabilities clearly and credibly across the production network.
- Collaborate with EightPM’s internal team to share new leads, set up meetings, and ensure smooth handoffs for follow-up.
- Operate with initiative and independence, bringing a proactive mindset and solution-oriented approach to every interaction.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 3 years working in film and TV production.
- A strong network of active production professionals across South Korea, Japan, or Thailand (Australia and New Zealand are also a plus).
- Proven experience liaising between producers, art departments, and production companies.
- Strong network within the APAC production ecosystem (especially in South Korea, Thailand, Japan, with a secondary focus on Australia, or New Zealand).
- Exceptional communicator and influencer, with excellent interpersonal, written, and visual presentation skills
- Fluency in English: Proficient in written and spoken English for effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Networking and relationship management: Comfortable engaging with production teams, scouting new opportunities, and maintaining rapport.
- Technical Skills: Experience with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Monday) is beneficial but not required. Must be comfortable with data management and eager to learn new software.
Compensation
This is a pay-per-introduction contractor role. You’ll receive a flat fee of ₩50,000 for every successful, verified connection you make between EightPM and production professionals within your network.
