The Role

Reports to: Managing Director

As an Account Manager, you’ll be the primary point of contact for our clients, building and nurturing long-term partnerships. You’ll lead the day-to-day delivery of campaign objectives, developing a deep understanding of each client’s business and industry, and advocating for their needs within our teams. Your role will be essential in ensuring our clients’ campaigns succeed, driving collaboration and seamless coordination across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate meaningful client relationships, acting as their advocate and ensuring we meet and exceed campaign objectives.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business and industry trends, positioning yourself as a strategic partner.
  • Build and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, providing clients and internal teams with actionable insights.
  • Maintain organized account notes and records in our CRM and databases to support information flow and reporting accuracy.
  • Act as a key resource to all team members, collaborating to optimize processes and enable team success.
  • Run internal and external meetings to drive effective collaboration, timely project execution, and high-quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to a positive, people-first team culture and actively support team health and morale.
  • Embrace other duties and tasks as needed—our team members wear many hats!

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience managing client relationships, with a portfolio of $3MM+ at a media, advertising, or marketing agency.
  • Managing a sizable portfolio of up to 25 accounts.
  • Strong grasp of marketing and media principles, with a client-centric, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Experience of managing "high-friction" internal and external stakeholders to ensure improved strategic outcomes.
  • Analytical thinker who thrives on solving challenges and delivering results.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills (verbal, written, and visual) with the ability to understand, interpret and communicate marketing based metrics that show long term value of campaigns.
  • Comfortable with CRM tools (HubSpot, Monday.com), communication apps (Slack, Zoom, WhatsApp), design tools (Canva, Figma), and social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Linkedin).
  • Eat, breathe, & sleep pop culture, with a passion for television & film entertainment.

Location Requirement:

  • Candidates must reside in the greater Austin area and have reliable transportation for commuting.

Desirable Experience and Skills:

  • Working in the film industry with production houses.
  • Experience managing C-level and regional stakeholders, presenting strategy in a compelling, confident manner.
  • Development of brand strategy outside of e-commerce, paid media or more traditional “immediate impact” campaigns (long term brand building).
